Litter picking come rain or shine
3 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help their local community in Derby.

Ashley and Pete met up with me to litter pick at Alvaston Park on a very rainy evening.
We started off in a children's play park and made our way around some of the paths within the park. We needed our headtorches to find some of the buried treasure like a cloud shaped keyring and some maths homework. We got part way to getting a full outfit together - finding a t shirt, a sock and a trainer. We mostly found drinks bottles from people who were hydrating on hotter days than when we were litter picking.
We managed to collect three full bags of litter and headed back to our homes to wring out our socks and dry off our trainers.
Thanks to Ashley and Pete for turning up despite the weather and helping to make Alvaston Park a safe and enjoyable place for visitors. Just one photo as (like a lot of us) my phone doesn't function well in the rain....
