Mistletoe & Wine
9 GoodGymers made their way 7.0km to help their local community in Westminster.
- Wednesday, 18th of November 2015
Meanwhile in Westminster 10 amazing GoodGymers braved the gale force winds and headed south to St Margaret's drop in centre to help put up Christmas decorations in preparation for an up coming community event for some local over 50s.
A 4.5 mile round trip started off nice and steady as we eased our way into our run.
Through the back streets avoiding most of the congestion provided by early Christmas shoppers we arrived safely but slightly thirsty as even though it was windy it was still surprisingly warm.
We were greeted by Angela and Janeen who topped us up with warm drinks, water and biscuits. Once again all was well in the world.
We were shown the boxes of tinsel, christmas trees, baubles, stars and asked to make it look as pretty as we did last year.
So we did just that. 25 minutes later we'd finished, said our goodbyes and we were off.
A few intervals, some inclines and good conversation got us back just in time for tea.
Till next time, thank you for your time.
