Moss-tly weeding for Mrs N
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.
- Thursday, 2nd of November 2017
Having met at the Heath Pub and managing to resist the temptations of a warm spot at the bar, Nathan and Mikey set off to Roath to meet Mrs N and to help tidy her garden.
They arrived to a warm welcome from Mrs N and her daughter and were shown through to the garden, where, after a much appreciated glass of water, Mrs N explained that moss and weeds had taken over her borders and plant pots, and it all needed removing.
Armed with a gardening glove each, and light provided by Nathans newly purchased headtorch (a top tip from the ever helpful Ben A), they set to work pulling out the weeds, and removing overhanging branches that were intruding from the neighbours side of the wall.
Three bags of garden waste later, there was not a weed in sight and a pleased Mrs N bid farewell Nathan and Mikey as they set off back to the north of Cardiff.
