Another lovely sunny evening and another raking session. This time somewhere between Saturn and Uranus. After sizing up the task at hand we agreed we'd have it done in no time, and soon got to work raking every inch of grass on and around the mound with the supposed viewpoint of York Minster
With an excitable Digby doing his best to distract us all by wanting to play tug-of-war with the rakes, we had the first part of the task done in no time. Next up, lopping!!!
Part 2 of our the mission required us to cut back any overgrown brambles or nettles from the side of the cycle route and as we all no GG York are never happen than when we've been given free reign to hack away at stuff we deem to be overgrown
With a glorious Yorkshire sunset bringing the evening to an end we stopped for a group photo and returned our tools before heading home for a well deserved dinner
