It was a mission style run this weekend for GoodGym Bristol. This week’s task was to help an elderly person with some of the more physical tasks on their allotment so that they can keep active and gardening.
We met at Roll for the Soul at 11am and after a quick warm up headed on our way. We ran through Castle Park, behind Temple Meads and on to Feeder Road and then Netham Park. The main part of the task was to move a shed from one part of the allotment to another. With some great team work we got it done, and made plans to come back and help with some more jobs.
Luckily the rain held off, and we upped the pace for a quick run home. A really satisfying task this week, and it was great to help someone who was so grateful.
