A Herculean effort from 9 of The finest GoodGymers in all the land to run 8k and shift 2000kg of sones to help Ark Atwood Primary school turn a memorial roof garden into a reality.
What a great effort!! Thank you all so much for your hard work!!
A physical but super rewarding task to help finishing the structure of the Memorial Roof Garden for a pupil of the the school that passed away 2 years ago.
Task seemed simple carry bags of stones down a flight of stairs, across a playground, around the corner then up and over a fence! Well it wasn’t!! And required all our energy and teamwork to smash through 70 Thirty kg bags of stones in an all action 35 minutes!!
A tremendous effort which will have a big big impact for the school!!
No mean effort with the running either! 4k each way at a very strong pace with positive road crossings all the way!
To celebrate we go to have a little fun with the New Balance photo Booth.
Thanks for coming along and see you next week for our visit to One Big Family Homeless Charity.
