Now you can see the hidden tree house
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 20th of August 2017
David and I arrived at Ms I house and we were welcome by Ms I. She told us that she is very pleased with the last week mission by Hellen and Sophie. This time, our main job is to trim her overgrown 40 years old tree. We were given the green bag for the waste from the tree. David started to trims the tree and I collect the waste and put it in the bin bags. To finish the job, David even has to stand on top of the tree in order to trim the other part of the tree that can't be reached by the ladder. Ms I occasionally went out from her living room and offer us tea. She also has a great character, she shares some stories about foxes that always visited her in the garden. She has a passion not only for gardening but also in photography. She took some our pictures while we were trimming her tree. We spent 90 minutes and 9 bin bags were done. Now Ms I can see her neighbour's "hidden" tree house from her garden. With a cheery goodbye, I cycled home and David runs for another GoodGym mission in Tooting. It was a very productive Sunday afternoon.
