WELL after that IN TENTS pun, there's nothing really missing to report , so just enjoy the photos....
WELL actually I would like to say what an awesome bunch I got to spend a Monday night with doing good deeds against the elements. Some of us were wet before we even started but as ever the warm glow of running with such great people soon takes your mind off of any storm.
Likewise to be able to assist such a great community space in our borough equally dulls down our soggy shoes and brightens up our evening. Especially when Lynne , our task owner was so super organised and of course readily greeted us with biscuits! Huge thank you Lynne , it was great to be able to help tonight, a super charity that has so much history in our borough and has been doing such good in our community for over 100 years.
Ok , now you can enjoy the photos but don't forget the news
In the news tonight... * There is the chance for a taskforce member to volunteer to lead a Community Mission on Sunday 15th March - you will need to liaise with Lynne but likely to be 11.30am start for a couple of hours with the guide community and don't forget the invite to the pub afterwards. * In other news we also talked about the opportunity to volunteer for the Hackney Half on 17th May , sign up here * Missing People are looking for runners to run for them in 2 upcoming races, details for Turks Head 10km here and Royal Parks Half Marathon here * Great to see Hannah from Kingston join us on her first Richmond run * Welcome to Jo!!
