6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Phoenix Cinema in Barnet.

Six Super GoodGym members came together to help 4films being screened at the Phoenix Cinema in Finchley. The 4films were the culmination of a project to engage aspiring local filmmakers with mentors to film charities working in Finchley. This included Goodgym Barnet. GG members came to help facilitate the event with Laura & Niamh holding two mobile microphones to capture questions from the audience in the Q&A session. Paul on his first GoodGym outing acted as an usher together with Daniel & Peter. it was a hot day and the event was competing with Wimbledon for attention but still managed a reasonable crowd of people. The films were great and highlighted the great contribution that volunteers make to the local Community. Other films discussed such subjects as plastic and environmental activism. The whole event was amusing, witty and educational!
thanks for coming and helping out at this very worthwhile community event. Paul
