Picking up where we left off
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the The wider Liverpool community in Liverpool.
- Sunday, 7th of June 2020
- Led by Jo G
After the slight relaxation of restrictions, what better way to get together (but not too close together) with five mates than a GoodGym Community Mission! Liverpool is blessed with many beautiful parks of all shapes and sizes, but they have seen increased visitor numbers in the past weeks with a great deal of litter being left. This morning was the turn of Newsham Park in the north of the city (did I mention I've never been there before?) The six of us, armed with sturdy gloves and hand gel as well as our trusty litter pickers made short work of clearing the paths, lakeside and grass. We even found the perfect benches for a socially distanced catch-up.
Pauline andJo also made the most of the session by cycling there and back.
Special shout out to Tom who came over from GoodGym Leeds to complete his 50th good deed with us. It's an honour!
