Return of the Weeds
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Greenwich.
- Saturday, 24th of November 2018
Mr J called for the services of 2 Greenwich Goodgymers to help out in his garden a year after the last GG tidy up. After quick introductions & a briefing off Mr J on what he would like done we set to work. Mr J offered us a variety of tools varying from garden snips a mini rake to a very cute mini trowel which I’m sure would of been great for building a wall but also turned out to be surprisingly great for de-weeding. The job itself looked fairly straight forward due to an earlier visit from the council who had chopped Mr J’s trees back, but never underestimate the power of the weed! In the end a combination of pure grit & the handy little trowel & the weeds had lost there battle with The GoodGymers. It was then time to apply the weed killer so the little sod’s wouldn’t return, grab the customary ”forgotten photo of us pretending to look busy shoot!” Then check that Mr J was happy & part ways. Thank Rachael it was a pleasure. Until next time Weeds!

The great GoodGym tradition of pretending to look busy for a picture! Great work guys.
