I had the wonderful opportunity to spread the word about all the activities and events happening at the welcoming to all and active community centre - ETNA - known well to GoodGym. By the time I arrived for 10:30am slot, the stall had been set up with a huge amount of flyers (including one of my own) depicting the huge variety of activities that go on at ETNA - for the young and young at heart. We had to borrow some jam jars at the stall next to us to hold down some of the flyers given the breeze. As I observed all the passer by's with coats having been reluctantly taken out of storage, spirits were high and it was a delight meeting many locals and those who had come further afar to this annual event (which hadn't taken place since 2019) and introducing them to the centre. The team gave out many flyers to enthusiastic and interested punters and the time went very quickly. ETNA have their open morning coming up on 23 May and many of those I got a chance to speak to, were looking forward to dropping by then as well.
