Let’s be honest, how often do we get an opportunity to visit a pretty church and tend to there pretty garden?
Well, thats exactly what we did.....
After a relaxing weekend by the pool sipping ice cold water with a lemon twist I put my kicks back on ventured down to the Hub where as normal a band of merry men and women were waiting.
A quick change, a briefing and THEN!!!! The exciting bit. A certain David Miller has been putting in hours and good deeds and has made his way to the promised land…. Black Tshirt Baby, Black Tshirt….
For those of you not in the know, in order for you to be presented with such awesomeness you have to attend and complete 50 Good Gym Runs….. SO from me and rest of the team, congratulations sir… You are officially #FitForPurpose ;-)
On to the mission at hand….. Today was a nice one, head down to St Pauls Church Knightsbridge and make an area in the front yard safe, free from slips and trips in preparation for a Royal Visit. Head round back to the garden do some weeding, gather all the dry fallen leaves bag them, tag them and leave them in nice place for collection.
So that’s exactly what we did. A steady 1.5miles jog out there and 40minutes of hard graft. An area made safe and a garden made to look like professionals had been there… High fives, smiles, cheering an offering of roasted chicken a strong hand shake and a goodbye.. Mission complete…
Now for the real hard work… We headed back the way we came through Green Park… BUT this time we stopped for what we all love to hate. CORE exercises…. Crunches, planks, reverse planks, side planks..PLANKs and lots of them ;-) Now as you can see from the pictures everyone was smiling and the only reason we headed back before doing more core was because it was getting dark…. #Honest…
In all seriousness, I know we all hate doing core, but this stuff is a really important part of staying both fit, healthy and injury free… Keep smiling folks and remember, continue to do small things with great love…
Thankyou for coming..... Till next time
