Seven is a place on earth
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Adur Worthing Council in Worthing.
- Sunday, 2nd of August 2020

After one of the hottest nights of the year, whilst some people were still out from the night before, 6 early GoodGym risers were out for a litter pick on Worthing prom on this lovely Sunday morning. It was lovely to welcome Brighton GoodGymer Katharine along with Jay, Barbara, Sue, John & Belinda. Missed you Julia & get well soon Nick! Today we made a council worker Katarina overwhelmingly happy! Having come over to say thank you to John & Belinda who were clearing up a smashed lager bottle, she suddenly spotted Katharine & said ‘oh wow, there’s another one!’ When she found out there were 6 GoodGym volunteers in total she couldn’t wait to tell the rest of the council cleaning team about these wonderful volunteers. Half an hour later & 4 bags filled it was time to stop & head off our separate ways for breakfast & to enjoy our Sunday. Special mention to Barbara who was out running 7 miles before the task to complete her 7 in 7 challenge!
