Shining stars on a dark night
4 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help their local community in Derby.

Thanks to Ashley, Pete and Tracey for being shining stars at this week's litter picking session.
Ashley kicked things off finding a discarded mask on the floor of the car park and we went on to find a dummy, a false nail and a mitten - which we left in case the owner came back to find it and give it a good wash before using (the mitten, not the nail.... )
It was good to see (for as long as we could in daylight) Markeaton Park looking fairly litter-free and being enjoyed by runners, cyclists and scooter owners. We soon had our head torches on to explore the play area and grass away from paths.
The team had a chat about upcoming events they're preparing for including the Monsal Trail half and the Derby 10 mile.
Thanks everyone for coming - hope to see you again soon.

On the way home I picked up loads more including another 2 masks and a bottle of Smirnoff Ice.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
I'm still waiting for the central team to help me with that! I can help with document checks but not my own :/ Thank you for continuing to do good deeds after the session and carry on litter picking!
