There can be fewer better ways to start the new year than getting out for some steps, doing good and seeing other people!
Today six of us met in Teddington to continue our task of delivering leaflets to advertise the Christmas tree collection that Shooting Stars Hospices are doing. Covering around 3km each just by walking around the streets and up and down the beautiful paths and drives, that's 18km of ground covered together!
This very worthy cause is raising money by collecting trees across TW postcodes, and we are trying to spread the word as much as possible. Three bundles were delivered today. Further tasks to cover more of the borough are taking place in Sheen, Twickenham and Richmond Centre this week.
