Some lidl musings on Sardines.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 30th of August 2024
Never have I been so happy to see tins of sardines in sunflower oil - after last week's drought (?), the shelves were full once again at Mr T's local Lidl. As is the way, it then got me wondering what the collective noun is for a large group of sardines - my first guesses were school or shoal, but it transpires it's actually a "family" of sardines...
The irony of all this was when I got back to Mr T's with his completed list of treasure, he made a point of commenting how much nicer the Sardines were that I got him from Tesco last week...
