Sometimes It's The Simplest Things Which Make A Difference
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Friday, 13th of November 2020
This was a task that I actually ran to, which given my slow recovery from Coronavirus was quite a feat. I was met by Lisa a lovely carer, who for legal reasons was not allowed to change a light bulb. It turns out that out of six bulbs in two different ceiling lights only one was working and one bulb had broken and could not be easily removed. We turned off the electricity and in a matter of seconds I had removed the broken bulb and replaced it with a working one and now there were at least three working lights out of six.
A simple task but it really helps out the carers, K the owner of the house as job has been done and it hasn't cost her a penny, and I did a 5km to boot.
