An awesome, energetic group from the DBT dominated a fun-filled afternoon with the St Andrew's Youth Club!
Perfectly timing the start of the session to miss the downpour, we power-walked the 1km route to St Andrew's.
First we took in a tour of the tardis that is the oldest youth club in the world (learning about the history of the club on the way, and hearing about the engaging work that the club does on a weekly basis, helping to positively impact the lives of over 200 young people every week).
We got stuck into our task of clearing out the arts, crafts and games cupboard, throwing away anything that was broken or incomplete, then reorganising the space into a super-efficient and tidy store ready for the night's youth activities.
Finishing off the session with a a mini-club game play which involved pool and table tennis of the highest quality, battling it out for the glory!
Thanks so much for a fun afternoon and look forward to seeing you in April for our Farm visit.
