Start of tea service and guest already present. Eager to get to the food that will be served at 1pm but also eager to lay their hands on the grocery/snack bags. It started with some chaos as a few volunteers did not turn up so Angela had to shuffle the team around. Jo was helping out to get the service area ready while Steph was on grocery bag duties. Steph started then 2 volunteers came to help him. 40 home bags and 30 snack bags prepared ready to be given out from 2pm. Chicken was in the fridge and 10 minutes before opening the doors they were brought to the bag section for those who are able to cook at home. Angela asked Steph to manage the grocery bag area and the main floor between the different activities also assist the new comers. Loads of steps for Steph. At 1 pm ruch hour as kitchen opened its doors to the guests, but an unusual extra number of people meant we needed to extend the eating area. Steph laid down plastic on the floor, put tables and chairs while Jo served the extra section....busy, busy busy but the team nailed it!!! As it was Rosa's 90th birthday, the team prepared a table for her.

Well done Steph, it sounded like a hectic day and a good thing you were there to assist. As you said, you all nailed it!
