Sunshine.
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 27th of August 2017
Sarah and David met for the second weekend in succession to brighten up a garden in Wandsworth.
Mrs R had been in hospital for some weeks and her beautiful garden had grown a pace in the warm and the rain. The view from the living room into the garden was full of greenery and not so much light.
Our runners set about chopping back shrubs that were making a bid for the skies and cleared weeds growing through the paving. After a cup of tea and a lovely chat the hedge in the front was tamed to within the bounds of the garden and reduced in height.
Sunshine was now streaming into Mrs R's living room, she really appreciated the help given.
