The Three Musecateurs!
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Richmond.
- Saturday, 6th of June 2020
GoodGymmers from three different boroughs got together for today's awesome task to help clear a badly overgrown garden for an elderly resident in Richmond. Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith were represented in the mission which involved a lot of upper body strength to hack down lots of ivy and pull up weeds.
We arrived to meet a representative from a local charity who set us on our way with some tools and instructions. We wasted no time in getting to work and even managed to make friends with Mrs P and her black cat next door!
5 bags of weeds and rubbish later and the small garden was completely revitalised. What a treat for the gentleman to return to and enjoy some outdoor space. Hopefully the weather will perk up!
