There was no Panda-monium with this Bamboo clearing task
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Saturday, 23rd of June 2018
Myself, Vic & Ian arrived promptly to help Mr L and his wife with their garden. Beautiful sunny afternoon so we cracked on with the 2 main tasks. Ivy on the fence on the right to be cut down, bamboo creeping in from next door on the left to be removed
There was a change of ivy plan when we realised it had over time become part of the fence. So we just gave the remaining bush a good haircut . Meanwhile Vic had been going great guns clearing the bamboo which Ian then mucked in with.
Mrs L was really happy with the difference. So much so, she mentioned making the GG team some rhubarb (from their garden) crumble next time we go to help :-)

You too! See you Monday when you join us for some GG tourism :-)
Really enjoyed this mission! 😁
Funny this, I've been on 2 missions there. The wife was never home. I was beginning to think she didn't exist. Nice to see she was there to give instructions this time. lol
