There was something rotten in the state of Putney!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 5th of August 2018
Here's what Ms R of SW19 had to say about the mission:
So lovely, I'm so happy. I enjoyed it so much. God bless you all!
The Sun always shines in Wandsworth and this Sunday was no exception. We braved the heat and ran/walked 5km to help Ms R tidy up her garden.
Her large apple tree had shed fruit all over her garden and made a right strudel of her patio. We got to work rounding up all of the rotten fruit making the garden tidy and more accessible.
Ms R was also worried about the state of her roses so we did some dead heading, cut back the bits that had overgrown and provided some expert advice on pruning for her to pass onto volunteers in the spring.
