4 GoodGymers made their way 1.0km to help the Jubilee River Riverside Centre in Slough.

4 Runners ran 1km down to the Jubilee Riverside Centre to help wih the weeding as it had become overgrown due to the lack of use over the last few months, So good to see Roisin again after a few months in lockdown, she was back and raring to go with her weeding tools. Jamie told us it was not a job that normally needed doing as the weeds were normally kept at bay when people trod on them to get the canoes out for use. We quickly got to it tackling some very high weeds, Jenny and Sut took the back section and Sara and Roisin started at the front, We even sussed out that if we wrapped the stingy ones in plastic we could yank them out without getting stung. So in between the rain(jackets on..jackets off) an hours work and you could definitely see the difference we had made.
