Mission

Today's water based Maths Test...

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

There was a brief (but slightly painful) moment at the start of today's mission where I had a flashback to my c9 year old self about to face a maths test (for which I hadn't done the homework)...and it went something like this.

"The only water you can buy is the Nestle Pure Life, for which I would like 4 x 1.5L bottles (each at 50p)"...okay, so far so good.

However...

"If they don't have the 1.5 L bottles you can either get the 2 pack of the 750ml, or 2 pack of the 33cl - I don't mind which, but don't get me more than either of these amounts, even if the total volumes don't add up to the same amounts as if you'd got the 1.5L bottles".

You have no idea how glad I was to find the 1.5L bottles on the shelf at Iceland - it was like turning over the exam paper to find someone had already filled in the answers...

This made me burst out laughing, I also remember the feeling of maths tests that I didn't study for! Thank you so very much for your help, sarah
