Traffic Lights and Cat's Eyes.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Monday, 16th of November 2020
There was a long queue outside Mr T's local Tesco this afternoon - had we gone back to the experiences of shopping in early April I wondered. All became clear as I rounded the corner - Tesco have introduced a traffic light system at their entrance that was only allowing one person in as another left - a computerised voice acted like a nightclub bouncer to let you in (or not...).
Once in it was a pleasant and quick trip around the aisles to pick up Mr T's four basic essentials though, and then back to his to do the drop off.
As I approached his flat I was being closely watched...by a curious, and very white, cat who'd taken up residence near his front door. I lost the stare-off, and so left wondering what cats and other animals must be making right now of these strange humans with half their faces covered up - random musings of a Monday afternoon...
