Turning a new leaf
21 GoodGymers made their way 3.5km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

21 runners meet up at 6.45 at Town Hall Hotel to help Margaret from Hollbush to make the community garden even better.
After Tom explaining GoodGym to the group, welcoming two new GoodGymers and introducing the GoodGym Race Team (including a nice a demonstration from Will in a racing vest), we were headed to a nice empty parking lot, to do some running exercises including power walking on the spot, high knees, squats and strides.
When we arrived we met Margaret and Michael, who thanked us for all the work we have done in the past few years as they have achieved LOADS of awards for their amazing garden and community.
A few tasks were available tonight, cutting trees with Michael, clearing some vegetable beds and clearing all the leaves on the ground. And after 40 mins of hard work everything was done.
We headed off back to the hotel but by a slightly longer run using groups of different ability. Tom took some runners on a shorter run, while Will and Axel lead up a slightly longer run on the canal.
As usual it was a brilliant and nice evening.
Hopefully see you soon! Axel
