Uni Run
12 GoodGymers made their way 7.0km to help their local community in Westminster.
- Thursday, 17th of September 2015
With a special session organised just for a group of wonderful students from Westminster university we met in the lobby at 630 to discuss the task at hand, the distance to be covered and the history of GoodGym.
On arrival some wore jeans, some converse, some shoes but all were equally dedicated to completing the jaunt down to St Andrews in Pimlico for a quick fire cleaning session of another gym area.
A quick interview for the roaming reporter and we were off.
We walked, jogged and ran our way through the back streets of the west end till we arrived safely in Victoria where we greeted by Adrian.
A tour of the building followed by a speed cleaning session the students truly made their mark.
Some headed home after the task, some returned via tube and a few dedicated souls soldiered on in adverse weather conditions still with smiles on their faces.
Regardless of how far they ran we really enjoyed running with you, the attitude of who cares if we have shoes and jeans on we are still going to get this done is a testament to your determination, something others could learn a lot from.
Hopefully we will all see you soon.
Great work.
