We’ve had a blooming good DAHLIA!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 29th of April 2018
Myself and Andrew arrived ready and eager to complete a gardening transformation mission.
The mission was to plant the Dahlia bulbs and complete the lawn to flower bush changeover, and create a colourful section of the garden.
We got stuck in digging up the soil and removing a few pesky weeds.
The soil was raked over and then the planting LIGHTBULB went off in our heads. We carefully read the instructions and planted the bulbs. This was done in a diamond formation that would best show off the difference in the flowers colours and heights.
It was great to get back here to plant the bulbs as I had been here a n the mission to start digging up the lawn a few weeks earlier.
It is always good to do a good deed and learn something new
Here’s to the Bulbs being a blooming “Goodgym” success!
Mrs J was really thankful to all the Goodgymers that had helped over the past few weeks.
