We weren’t BramBoozeled!!!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Richmond.
- Sunday, 12th of August 2018
2 runners ran 10km to visit Mr L and help tidy and trim his back garden.
Our group run “weed identification training” from Surbiton last week came in very handy as we were able to know our knotweed and battle the brambles that were holding the garden hostage.
A plan of action rapid-leaf formed and we thankfully avoided getting into a prickle! Our efforts were rewarded and as the brambles were removed we revealed a gorgeous goddess statue that had been made by the late wife of Mr L.
We then turned our attention to the bamboo. The solution wasn’t black and white, but after some guidance from Mr L we didn’t panda to it and trimmed it back to a more manageable height.
We had wheelie bin productive so we finished off by turning over the soil in the newly visible beds and loading up the bins, ready for collection.
