When there is no task let them Picnic
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Moormead Community & Sports Pavilion in Richmond.
- Sunday, 9th of June 2024
- Led by Cathy Aicardi
Sal and I had our own personal Picnic as we waited and waited for the organisers to show. In there absence we enjoyed our own picnic with home made Scones.
I recommend taking 5 minutes out of your day to catch up with friends old and new. (Picnic Option, Scones essential)

Oh no Sal and Sarah!!!!
The task was scheduled to start at 9:30am. Contact was made at 9:45am with the task owner - Vanessa at ETNA who was packing up chairs for the picnic at ETNA (perhaps this would have been a better meeting point and support we could have provided for this task) and would be driving over to Moormead Park after. She advised to provide her number to the volunteers waiting at the park. Unfortunate that it did not work out but the catch up, sunshine and scones looks great!
