Who Let the Sardines Out...?
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

Today's shopping mission for Mr C was a chance for another explore of the neighbourhood and to see what life was like on a sunny Monday afternoon on the Kingsland Road.
It was Mr C's carer (we'll call him L) who met me at the door with a shopping list and money - better still he'd prioritised the items in order of what they needed. Even better it was clear his shopping was done at Sainsbury's, so it was off to the now familiar Kingsland Shopping Centre to join the queue there.
Fair to say Mr C's list was pretty eclectic, with a few items I'd never heard of before, but with a bit of careful navigating (it was proving hard to keep the 2m distance at all times), I managed to locate all the treasure, except bizarrely Sardines, for which the shelves were completely bare of all variants (I never knew there were so many ways...).
The long queue to pay gave me a chance to see what else people were stocking up on (no trends to report here - the toilet roll stockpile era has clearly passed...), and then it was a short walk back to Mr Cs. En route I also picked up two green peppers at the local market, and so, migratory Sardines apart, I'd completed my homework.
Delivery was done at a distance, L, on behalf of Mr C was amazed/delighted that I'd been able to (a) interpret his list and (b) secure pretty much everything on it - so I hope both he and Mr C will be happily fed for the coming week.
