What a marvelous day for a rewarding task. Sheila, Tony, Julie, Diya and Amanda spent a few hours helping the Thames Valley Adventure Park clear up their Wacky Woods ready for the spring season. The task was originally going to be moving compost bins but shifted to become the much more fun task of creating a children's mud pit and leveling out the ground for their picnic benches and mud kitchens. We were grateful to have the strength of Tony and the gardening skills of Sheila and Julie on hand. We achieved so much more than we thought we would and had a great deal of fun doing it. Diya joined us having already done several hours of normal work having started at 7am - very impressive.
We think we made a real difference on this task and hope to be back soon.
