another record breaking morning at parkrun! 136 juniors, lots of grown ups and lots of volunteers! Karen and Nigel were volunteering this morning, with a bit of volunteer coordinating, marshaling (and cheering!), helping with finish tokens, and packing everything away. Such a lovely start to Sunday.

A lovely morning for a parkrun and a reminder about everything that is so good about parkrun. Karen was Run Director today, with added duties of xourse check, number checker, and results processor; Nigel was on course set up, timekeeper and close down, and Kat was on barcode scanning while her son did his first Duke of Edinburgh volunteering. Lots of juniors volunteered today, with parkrun a great easy way to get involved in volunteering.
We saw celebrations of amazing running and volunteering milestones today, and it was lovely to see Mark and Marjo back at parkrun. The parkrun community is so supportive and there's no doubt that many friendships have been made and physical and mental health benefits felt.

6 GoodGymmers were up bright and early to lend a hand at junior parkrun today! Karen and Nigel were there for event set up and to welcome volunteers - a lovely surprise to see Kat who joined the team as a tailwalker alongside Emily; Karen went on to be Run Director while Nigel, Maurice and Claire were marshals around the course. A fabulous morning with 107 juniors taking part!

that was such a busy morning! it was the highest attendance at Queens Park junior parkrun since it first started 4 years ago, with 133 children being active, many with their parents, aunts and uncles or grandparents!
Claire was tailwalker this week, Karen was barcode scanner, Nigel was funnel manager, and Emily and Maurice were marshalls cheering the juniors on and keeping then safe around the course. A great job by all!

Nicola, Nigel and Karen joined the Crewe parkrun team today as volunteer coordinator and timekeepers. Such a lovely way to start the weekend! Our roles in the parkrun team meant that 391 people were physically active and were part of a lovely supportive community, all superbly led by the new Run Director on the team, Charlie.

It was lovely to be back in the Wishing Well garden after some time away. The winter does challenge us when it comes to getting out in the garden, so the lighter nights are a godsend.
Maurice and Nicola Set to work with the lawnmowers to get the garden looking lovely for the community VE day celebrations.
The grass was a little meadow like, but with two mowers on the go, we soon had it looking lovely again. It was wonderful to spend an evening in the fresh air, and enjoying lovely company.
We hope the VE Day celebrations were a success, and we look forward to being back at Wishing Well again soon!
Amazing job as always!
Lots of love Nicola xxx
