It was very cold and frosty this morning at 08.15 but the park was looking beautiful nevertheless! Vis ability wasn’t brilliant but from my marshal post seeing the participants coming round the corner through the mist was a sight to behold. Goodgymers running today, Roisin, Kathryn, Panda Dave ( could have done with his Panda head today), Rob R, Alina, Susanna, Bobby. At the finish the sun came through, lovely

369 hardy people braved the forty conditions to run/walk/jog their way around Catton Park. Bobby was timekeeper today something that’s always a bit nerve wracking to start with but he was in sync with the other timekeeper & he was very pleased, well done Bobby! Roisin & Jonathan were standing out in the cold today well wrapped up I hope, I was tailwalker today, it was cold! Well done everyone

New Year’s Day and we were faced with high winds & rain expected. Catton was 1 of a few Parkruns running in Norfolk so 490 hardy people turned out including 2very 1st timers and many many tourists. Drizzle started but we managed to get everyone round and the course cleared by 10.15! Goodgymers here today Liam (&Henry in his buggy), Ian, Jasmine Rennie, Jonathan, Alina, Rob R & Bobby. 382 people after their Christmas festivities arrived at Catton Parkrun with plenty of families coming together for a festive parkrun Goodgymers attending today Rob O , Panda Dave, Nicole, Kathryn lovely to see you all. special shout out to Kathryn completing her 200th parkrun , a super achievement.

345 people attended today, on a cold, wet & windy morning, dressed in a variety of festive outfits. we had plenty of milestone, 250 runs,300 runs & 2 running their 400th runs. also we had 2 regulars with their 60th birthday inluded our own Robert O dad & he ran with his family members & mrs O volunteering as park walker. Our ED today also gave a shout out to a regular attendee at Catton every Saturday gets a bus from North Walsham (8miles away) to Parkrun, walks the 5k with her walking poles then gets the bus home. Thats dedication. well done Rob R Bobby, Rob O , Alina, Brad & Roisin were the Goodgymers here today. happy christmas everyone

281 people braved a miserable morning weather wise here in Catton Park. The one we were asked to bring an item to donate for Norwich Foodbank (the trussell trust) , as us Goodgym Norwich know well as we were there last Monday . Catton Park run delivered, as usual with box’s and box’s of non perishable items. A damp start & off they went. Rob O was the only Goodgymer running, well done. Bobby and I warmed ourselves with a coffee for him and my usual treat latte for me! I’ve included a photo from Mondays task to show where our donations will go next week.
