Weeding Hailsham Close Patch

Sunday 3rd March

Written by Petra Stockelmayerova

3 Goodgymmers met on a sunny Sunday morning to help Andrea with weeding a local patch of green. Andrea was very knowledgeable about all the different plants and bushes (many new to me & Rachel). We took a segment each, focusing on pulling out green alkanet whilst trying to leave the bluebells in. Bags filled up, pavement and road swept, we managed to complete the task and Andrea was happy. Well done Farzeen on your 5th task and thanks to Rachel for visiting from Sheffield.

We done good

Wednesday 31st January

Written by Kingston upon Thames runner

A great turnout for this final good deed of January!

Melissa did a bonus litter pick at lunch and Dave made the most of the school pick up walking and collecting litter. Emily litter picked in Richmond Park and dropped some tins at Waitrose. Rachel headed to Growbaby to help out. Marie-Noelle headed to Waitrose in Surbiton and dropped some donations. Jade stopped by at the Community Fridge and helped with cleaning up.

Well done everyone - until next year ;)!
