Playing with our Sambando band to support the Twilight walkers

Four fantastic GoodGymmers supported the Rothley 10k last night by marshaling for the race, keeping runners on track and giving cheers to over a thousand participants pounding the pavements. Shoutout to Katy and Ian who ran their socks off and appreciated the extra cheers from Goodgymmers.

This one is a local race supporting the work of LOROS, the local hospice charity. As a tasty thankyou at Rothley Fisheries, all volunteers received a voucher for fish and chips, which was well earned after a job well done. Whether cheering from the sidelines or racing the roads, everyone did their bit.

4 GoodGymmers enjoyed a stroll around Leicester city centre supporting LOROS deliver their event brochures. Weldone everyone LOROS pass on their appreciation for supporting this task.

Four Goodgymers made a second leaflet drop in Leicester city centre, to advise residents of road closures for the Leicester half and 10km running event. New Walk is the final mile of the race. Sadly the nights are drawing in but nevertheless the group covered good ground before the light faded. Well done everyone
