No scything this month, we had a new task at hand! Andy did a wonderful job of traveling and raking the Scar path, whist I help the locals gravel a new path down by Novers lane. it was a dangerous mud slope before next to a busy road, but now there's a much safer way to get across. Emma and Janka were off clearing the path of the the usual litter work.
stellar work all round! see you next month!

In a twist of calenders, we ended up with at least 3 tasks this Saturday. Starting off with a quick trip to the top of the slopes for the usual shenanigans. Only this time a jawbone was found, likely a deers, deep within the hedgerow. Ok ok, not that crazy, but it's a darn sight more interesting than the usual beer cans and other crisp packets! Thanks for coming everyone! See you next month.:)

This month we took to the bottom of the steps to tackle some of the fly tipping hotspots. Paul and the locals did an excellent job of scything down and clearing the area at the bottom, whilst I opened up the scar path slightly. Emma had found a huge pile of trash and was committed to cleaning it up before finishing the session. Len had some chocs for us for all the work we put in during the year. Not gonna say no to that!

Started out as a typical Northern Slopes session, until I found out the incredible amount of litter that Jason and Emma had managed to pull out. I was stunned! gold stars all round for that awesome work.
Thanks for coming all!

Big thanks to everyone who came out for the October session. We did a great job litter picking and cutting back overgrown pathways.

What a load of rubbish, we said as we walked up the steps with our bin bags and litter pickers. This was today’s task on a surprisingly warm morning. There were no sheep but three bags full of rubbish were collected. After an hour we called time.
Until next time…
