GoodGym marshalls were at every turn point and junction of today's Great Salterns Parkrun.
Welcome to Nadia at her first GoodGym task! And Rue at her first ever Parkrun experience!
Val was at the crucial first corner; John was stationed at his tree; and Vicki at her muddy bench!
Well done for cheering and motivating the Parkrunners.

Tried to come up with a good fibonacci pun for the title of this 144th parkrun, but it proved too difficult!
Instead, let's just say we enjoyed tailwalking on this beautiful morning, with the 64 participants and met 4 very energetic lovely dogs.

With Southsea parkrun off, Team GG went to Great Salterns to lend a hand, expecting a few more participants. The turnout seemed to be about triple the usual amount so we certainly had our work cut out! And a well done to Jen for her guess of 150 runners and walkers, just 4 short of the total!
We had Katie setting up and making sure everyone would be safe out there, plus a bonus token sorting after her run! Judy, Richard and Jen were out on the course keeping an eye on things. And Judy went home with some extra blackberry goodness! Yvonne and Jane in their bright orange ensured no one was left behind. And Val managed the funnel with absolute precision! Dave enjoyed some sunbathing before scanning barcodes for the sweaty masses!!

I am so impressed with everybody's litter picking efforts over the past few days - amazing work!
Whilst all our Run Leaders and nearly all Task Force picked the same week to go on holiday, GoodGymers rallied across the South to Keep Britain Tidy!
Katie L found socks in Devon, whilst Mel and Vicki found one closer to home at Alexandra Park. Hannah and her neighbour found an entire football trivia card collection on their pick - hopefully they can share some facts ahead of the next quiz night!
See you all next week a more social task! look forward to seeing you.

2 goodgymers helped out at Great Salterns parkrun. It was a very enjoyable start to the day. We timed and helped scan 60 vrunners; some of whom were accompanied by their very friendly and gorgeous canine running partners 😍

Another great lunchtime session making Bransbury Park that little bit cleaner! Had a fair bit of small litter in the train area and lots outside the cafe. Plus some fun antics shooting videos - how many GGers does it take? Lots! :-)
Great teamwork and we'll be back next month!
