Wandsworth Report written by Theresa Joseph (she/her)
3 GoodGymers along with 3 other BAC community garden volunteers got stuck into plenty of weeding, some deadheading daffodils clearing & recycling and a few other tasks to keep the beds clean and tidy as the mulching task was canceled, but there was plenty for us to do. Welcome to Pragash brilliant choice for a first session - great to have you and Arsal for your first session at BAC community garden. It was great to you meet both and join forces with other volunteers .
After a quick tutorial on what we needed to weed and what we needed to leave, Polly & Tracey organised us all in our different sections so we were nicely spreadout getting on with our tasks for the morning. Just in the nick of time, Polly stumbled upon some nettles and promptly harvested them to make some good nutritious nettle tea. Another lovely session at BAC community garden came to an end - until the next time. Polly & Tracey also shared in the welcome and took some photos too.

Arsal has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Arsal is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Arsal earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Arsal completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Arsal was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Hi Arsal. When you say DVLA, do you mean your driving licence? If so, there is no need to bring any ID. Just to let you know that this is a community mission, so there may not be any other GoodGymers there. I know this is your first session so you might prefer to come to one where there will be a group of us to welcome you? We will be at the same community garden to help out on Monday evening at 18:50 if you'd like to join us then instead? Just let me know (ana@goodgym.org) :)
