Hurrah 🎉 !!! Singing Cafe’s oldest attendee celebrated her 96th birthday today with a lovely song performance from our cafe vocal Artiste as everyone sang along with cheers and laughter. The goodgym cafe musketeers had their sleeves up as usual to help with setting up and cleaning up after today’s event.

Another month another litterpick at Leagrave Park. 8 of Luton Goodgyms finest turned out with the monthly event held by the FoLP. Over 25 bags of rubbish were collected along with a hub cap, the back seat of a car and a tyre. Kev from ABCD-IN-LUTON brought along a new contraption to essentially vacuum the cigarette 🚬 butt's off the floor. That was a wonder to behold. Great effort by everyone today. 👏

Like the speed of light the baskets kept going until it was all gone! Many thanks to the team of volunteers who helped in reloading extra baskets. A big shout out to Barclays Bank Luton for turning up with bags of donations.

It was lovely to welcome @Musa back to the team. Activities at the cafe went by so quickly despite having a very few hands on ground to help with setting up and cleaning up!

3 Luton Goodgymers helped Breakfast Battery Boxes with day 4 of their summer project, packing and distributing food parcels to vulnerable families in Luton North. We were able to help the organisation support around 40 families over 2 days this week. Great effort team, keep being amazing 👏
