One of a series of sessions with the lovely Ms D helping her ‘find’ her home again. When Emily and Paul arrived she was keen to show us the kitchen which is now much clearer and feels like a home again - she is so proud of it!
Today’s priority was to try to clear her hallway and stairs to reduce the potential for trips and falls. Lots of progress was made and once a friend puts some boxes in the roof and takes some bags to a charity shop it will be clear for the first time in years.
Ms D is so grateful for the support from GoodGym.

A gentleman who is the sole carer for his wife who has dementia, needs help to tidy his garden. It was once his sanctuary, but now he spends every moment looking after his wife.

Emily earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Emily completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Emily was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
