It was a dark, autumnal Tuesday evening, but this didn't scare the team away, with 11 wonderful people joining to complete the autumnal clean of the boulevard this evening. Unfortunately, Conroy was unwell, so Liz lead the way.
A warm welcome to Tomi, who joined the team today and welcome back to Bassey and Kemo for their second session!!
Also, a shout-out for Magda, who completed her 200th good deed today! AMAZING!!
The team promptly set-off to collect the tools, to allow as much time for the task as possible. The team collected litter, swept leaves and cut over-grown brambles.
The team worked hard and filled a grand total of 38 bags of waste!!
Well done team!!

Kemo Sidibeh earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Kemo completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Kemo was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Southwark Report written by Kemo Sidibeh
It was my first time to be part of this important mission in GROAD @ The Edward Allen Allen Club. I enjoyed and felt honoured with the task assigned to me. My responsibility was to sort out donations for 12 families from St Saviours primary School ranging from reception all the way to year 6. Meeting new people and working together in trying to contribute our quota in changing lives of less privilege family is something I'm proud of and would like to keep doing it.

Croydon Report written by Conroy
Last night 8 members from Goodgym Croydon, ran 1.9km to the Croydon Refugee day centre.
Thank you to our regulars Ian, Hannah, Liz and Nicola for making them feel welcomed and showed them the ropes at the task. Simon had various little jobs for us to do this visit and each time we thought we had completed the task he had assigned he would pop up with another task to do.
Whenever we visit Simon always insist on Kit Kat, Break and this week was no different to previous visits except for the fact that this time round we got Kit Kat Chunkies. While other where out knocking on doors for sweets and chocolates we were reaping rewards but by volunteering.
After the task we ran back to The Bedford Tavern for a drink and some food.
We also managed to plan and book our X-mas party will you be coming?
