This week's task was to a brand new location that we hadn't been to before - Mousehold Sea Scouts... and my what a view they have over Norwich!
Their outside area had overgrown quite a lot, so we gave it a good ol' blitz over by pulling up bracken, weeds and cutting back overgrown areas.

Tonight 15 Goodgymer's met at Mousehold Heath marking our last session here for the summer.
A group of 6 runners ran 5.5km in total to join the rest of the group at the task.
Resident Warden Will, lead the group with forks and rakes to a woodland glade ready to be cleared of bracken.
We also gave a big round of applause to Kathryn who achieved her 50th Good Deed this evening, almost 3 years to the day of her very first task!
After 45mins of raking and pulling up bracken, we had created many piles that were spread out to prevent any fire risks.
Well done team! See you next week.

NB: there is no spelling mistake in the pun.
Tonight we welcomed Maddy on her first GoodGym encounter, as she was visiting with Joel who is briefly returning to the UK (and GG Norwich) after moving overseas just over 3 years ago.
Well done to Alina who has recently completed 25 good deeds!!!
Tonight's task was returning to Somerleyton Gardens. With the dry ground, it was a rather challenging task to dig! Some of the tasks we completed included:
As you can see, it was a very busy evening with a great turnout. This warranted a well deserved pub trip.
Next week we will be cleaning the GoGo T-Rex's

This week's task was to pull out bracken at a very dry Mousehold Heath.
Prior to us arriving, the fire service were there putting put a fire, luckily it was only a small one and didn't interfere with us.
The team had to work extremely hard to pull the bracken up from the dry ground but they managed to successful pull up a whole load, so it really was a fantastic effort.
Bill and Katy kindly shared out some of their homegrown gooseberries for people to take home with them.
