Peps earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Peps completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Peps was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
Monday 25th November
Peps has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Peps is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Blustery Adventures at the Finchley Charities Allotment!
Yesterday, two hardy GoodGymers and local volunteers braved the blustery winds of Storm Burt to lend a hand at the Finchley Charities allotment. While much of the country was drenched, Finchley somehow escaped the downpour, though it was certainly soggy enough!
In a moment of questionable brilliance, I decided to cycle to the mission—possibly not the wisest choice with gale-force winds trying to send me back home! Still, I made it in one piece and was joined Peps ,other Finchley Charities folks, and an enthusiastic team ready to roll up their sleeves for a good cause.
The mission? To support the Food Bank in East Finchley by planting and harvesting fresh vegetables. Armed with tools (mercifully supplied by the organisers), we set about preparing the allotment for the winter season like seasoned pros—well, mostly. Clearing weeds and laying down plastic to keep the weeds at bay through the winter ready for planting in the spring.
Big thanks to the Finchley Charities and the Friends group for organising this brilliant day. It’s not every day you can combine battling a storm, getting muddy, and doing good for the community in one go.
Fancy joining next time? Keep an eye out for updates—weather permitting, of course!
