On a chilly Tuesday evening, 8 GoodGym Coventry members kept warm by running 6km and tidying the canal paths for Sustrans and Canal and Rivers Trust. We also featured on BBC CWR on our run!
It was great to see that the paths weren't too litter filled although we did still manage to get quite a lot of bottles, cans and general litter.
We were lucky today and Katherine led the fitness session, working on increasing our speed with some fun races too. All this in the picturesque canal basin with Christmas tree! Great to also see Graeme again tonight :)

As we braced for another storm to hit the UK, 9 GoodGym members needn't have worried as we were safe and warm at Clothing Coventry.
We set to our tasks of sorting the donated Christmas food, toiletries and Christmas shoe boxes.
Many stacks of donated food will be used in the hampers for families at Christmas and the shoeboxes will be given as gifts now they have been checked and sorted.
We even had time to sort some men's clothing.
Thanks Laura for leading the fitness session working on running specific drills.
Big congratulations to Vic for achieving her 100th Good deed and Cathy for achieving her 10th Good deed!!!

What a great evening and which a pleasure to see this request come to fruition.
This evening 9 GoodGym Coventry members support Kairos as they develop their outdoor area.
There was an immense amount of budlea and brambles alongside the building as well as garden debris to the rear and even more budlea and brambles further back.
As normal, the GoodGym team were unphased and got on with the task and transformed the outdoor area.
It was really great to meet John and he was a great help with the budlea and brambles clearing the rear with Lil and Susan. Laura and Maddie ensured the paths were clean and tidy and Jackie and Vic ensured that the captain of our skip, Allan, was kept busy keeping it skip-shape. Many thanks to The Kitchens Inc for supporting Kairos in sourcing the skip.

Tonight 7 members of GoodGym Coventry ran 8km to support Feeding Coventry and the Foleshill Family Hub. It was great to meet Madusha and find out about everyone's news.
There were two tasks tonight so we split into two groups. On to dig holes at the family hub for somer ferns. The other to stocktake at the Social Supermarket.
After succesful completion of the tasks we set off on our return to town. I forgot to take a group photo :(
