This evening we welcomed Chris to his first GoodGym Task, we were back at Aldermoor Farm and back to trimming the bush that grows along the fence!

Its a job that needs doing often in the summer as it can quickly grow above the fence line.

The extendable shears were grabbed quick by Sarah and Hannah as they are super good for reaching the bits you wouldn't otherwise be able to reach, and although not needed Wilson grabbed the tool belt (just for effect really).

We know what we are doing now and Richard provides the tools for the job so we were able to get the task done in the hour we had.

It was great to have you on board Chris - we hope you enjoyed your first task and we look forward to seeing you again 😊

Aldermoor Community Farm
Nurturing the potential of people and land

ldermoor Community Farm was started in 2014 as business owned by its members – a co-operative. This was a great way to start, but in 2020 we transitioned to become a charity and now benefit from being a project of Alder Trust. Not only do we now have the financial benefits of being a charity, but we are part of a larger organisation, a local charity with similar values and goals. We benefit from a wider governing body and from basic admin support, giving us more energy to focus on our work on the land.
