A Lidl learning curve.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Tuesday, 20th of August 2024
After her first GG shop last week, Mrs G was well prepared for this week's visit with a slightly longer list. It was my first return visit to the newly revamped (and definitely much improved) Lidl, and whilst it took me a while to get my aisle bearings, I soon had the trolley basket full - as usual there was a queue, but even this seemed to be a little less chaotic than before.
Mrs G had armed me with several reusable bags, and I was surprised that I managed to get everything into two bags and my backpack without breaking the eggs...even more impressive was Mrs G's budgeting in that she came in at 85p below £30, which I could only commend her on when I got to her door. Overall a perfectly planned expedition.
