Con-fuchsia-n with the acorns
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Norwich.

Here's what Mrs P of NR17 had to say about the mission:
Lovely, they did great a job, I wouldn't have been able to get it done without them, and it has made me feel so much better. Thank you so much to the runners.
Catherine, Simon and I visited Mrs P in order to tidy up her garden for Norwich’s first Mission run.
After introductions and instructions from Mrs P (aka Simon’s coach!)… we got to work … cutting grass, de-weeding, removing acorns and generally making the garden neat and presentable.
We each confessed our varying degrees of gardening experience and I leapt for the mower in order to hide my inexperience with the other tasks…Catherine and Simon did a fine job with the rest of the garden tasks... and made sure that I didn’t cut myself too much on the rose thorns. We had realised we had completed the task once Simon had even pulled up all the weeds from between the concrete paving slabs!
Aside: Catherine also managed to conquer her fear of spiders :)
All in all a successful and enjoyable mission.
